Of course, the all-time coolest, most badass death coincidence ever is that of John Adams and Thomas Jefferson, the two main architects of the U.S. Declaration of Independence and the second and third President of the United States, respectively, who both died on July 4, 1826, the 50th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence.

Their last words were, respectively, "Jefferson lives" and "I resign myself to my God, and my child to my country." Only one of them spoke the truth.
